BRICK FUNDRAISER

At the present time there are ten million children over 6 years of age that are considered obese; 80% of obese children become obese adults. The annual cost to society for obesity related illness is estimated at nearly $100 billion dollars.

It is our Foundation’s mission to see that these un-thinkable facts do not become a reality, and if the reality is already upon us, it will be our goal to reverse them and their devastating future effects on our children and grandchildren.

We are now at the point where we can offer parents, families and community members the opportunity to purchase a commerative engraved brick to create the new pathway to the Ivey Ranch Elementary Track and Athletic Field. This track is the first of it’s kind at any elementary school in California. It has been designed and created with environmental and student safety in mind. Synthetic turf is used in the field and sealed decomposed granite makes up the track portion. The tentative installation for the engraved brick pathway is scheduled for June 2008. We will be completing this pathway in phases so everyone has the opportunity to participate.
